Insert Coin; Start a Movement
On Monday, October 24 7N will (hopefully) be launching its first real campaign: Insert Coin, Start a Movement. The idea is a simple change drive to help get the movement off its feet. The funds collected will help with start up funds and a “block” party in the near future (fingers crossed). We hope to have some really cool looking boxes made up for this, and you can shoot us a Direct Message if you’d like one.
Get excited, we’re finally starting something! A movement that’s been a long time coming is taking the first steps in a few short days. This is the start of something huge.
We ask for your prayers, support and patience over the next few weeks. We’re all new to this, and there are many mistakes to be made. But, this movement is bigger than any of us, and we believe that each one of you involved can and will help change the world for good.

Today is 7/7. I thought it fitting to do a sort of mini launch today. Nothing huge is really happening, just time to start spreading the word and getting people excited about the amazing things we’re going to do. Start promoting the Facebook and this Tumblr, and the soon to come Twiiter. Start getting pumped about what awesome things we’re going to be able to do. 7N is going change many lives, and it starts today. Now. Here.
You guys, reading this right now, are going to be able say you where in on all this right from the start. 7/7/11 will be remembered. Get ready for awesome things.

The Idea
Stop. Think. How hard do you have to try to get water? Food? How long could you go without washing clothes and still not wear the same thing twice? When was the last time you didn’t have a roof over you head, or couldn’t get the medical treatment you needed? Have you ever wanted to go to school, but couldn’t? Do you have to even worry about your freedom?
Water. Food. Clothing. Shelter. Healthcare. Education. Freedom.
The seven basic needs for life. True life, not just scraping by, surviving day to day, but actually living. Most of you reading this have probably spent very little time without any of these seven. But way too much of the world gets by with none of them.
A few months ago, my heart, and the hearts of my friends, got struck with a desire to change something. To try and make the world a better place for as many people as we could. This blog is the first step of many to start a movement that ends the pain in lives around the globe. In the days and weeks to come, resources will made available were you can begin to help.
Are you ready to do something huge? Are you ready to flip this world on it’s head and stare into the face of adversity? Are you willing to put aside what makes sense and fits into the life you live? Are you ready to sacrifice your wants to meet others needs?
